Geeky Catholic Advent: Tuesday of the Third Week of Advent 2018
Gospel Reading: Matthew 1:18-25
Highlight: "They shall name him Emmanuel, which means 'God is with us.'"
Reflection: One of the unique things about our faith is that, while God is infinitely powerful and infinitely above us, He is also with us. He doesn't just stand in a high place and wait for us to come to Him; He comes down to our level, and invites us to accompany him to the heights.
Geeky Quote: "They say that the One will himself enter into Arda, and heal Men and all the Marring from the beginning to the end." - Andreth, "The Athrabeth Finrod ah Andreth," Morgoth's Ring
Prayer: Jesus, You became one of us so that we may join You in heaven. Thank you for this amazing and merciful gift. Amen.
